Well, it’s taken me more than two years, but I’ve finally put the finishing touches on the Vampire Queen Saga — for now (there’s always the possibility to visit the characters again in the future, and I made sure to leave just a slip of a way to do that). At any rate, the final book in the saga, THE MOUTH OF THE GODS, went live last week and is for sale on Amazon right now. Get your copy before the sale price ends. It was a ton of work, an awful lot of research. I had to learn about sword-fighting (which is always a blast), as well as sailing a viking longship (also a blast). I even dabbled in maps for the first time, letting the crazy talented Jade from Steam Power Studios turn my scratchings into beautiful maps. Sometimes, writing can be the joy so many others think it is. At any rate, pick up the last book, or even better the boxed set, and join Owen, Danika, and Fioni as they travel to the fabled Torin Island, the Home of the Gods.
In other news, I am about a week away from finished the first draft of GUNZ: BOOK 2 OF THE DARK ELF WAR. My daughter tells me my title sucks. Teenagers are so gentle about things. The 1st draft is pretty much an unreadable mess, but its where I figure everything out, the bones for my creation. Later, I’ll add muscle and tissue and fat and skin, and then apply make-up (cue maniacal Dr. Frankenstein laughter). That’s if for now. I have to get back to work.
